This Ancient Chinese Secret Supports Healthy Blood Flow for Your Heart, Brain and More*

Referred to by health practitioners as “earth dragons” back as far as 1573, earthworms have contributed much over the years to support health throughout the body with their complex of enzymes, featuring a unique bioactive protein.*

  • Lumbrokinase, a combo of six enzymes sourced from earthworms, is known for its ability to support healthy blood flow throughout the body as well as heart and brain health.*
  • Our Lumbrokinase Enzymes provide 2,000 FU standardized activity from Lumbrokinase from the Eisenia foetida and Eisenia japonica earthworms, plus Protease to enhance lumbrokinase’s actions and provide extra protein-digesting power.
  • We use a delayed release capsule to ensure the lumbrokinase enzymes and protease arrive in your intestines, where they are absorbed.

The idea of using earthworms for health is nothing new.

As far back as the 16th century, Chinese practitioners have relied on earthworms for their beneficial properties to support the cardiovascular system, circulation and energy throughout the body.*

Referring to them as “earth dragons,” early practitioners used them in all sorts of concoctions – fried earthworms and herbs, dried earthworm powders and even unrefined earthworm extracts.

Still largely unknown today, earthworms are becoming increasingly recognized by health experts for the enzymes they produce called lumbrokinase.

Extensively studied in China, lumbrokinase are a group of very strong and novel fibrinolytic enzymes sourced from earthworms.

So, why haven’t you heard of them?

There are at least three reasons why lumbrokinase are not well-known:

  • Most of their data is in Chinese and unavailable or poorly understood by non-Chinese practitioners.
  • Very few companies sell pure lumbrokinase, primarily from China, because they’re expensive and hard to come by.
  • Pharmaceutical companies haven’t yet figured out a way to utilize and profit from them.

Also, lumbrokinase aren’t like other types of enzymes, especially the type you take to help digest your meals.

How Lumbrokinase Differ from Digestive Enzymes

Did you know that of the tens of thousands of different enzymes in your body, 99.99% of them have nothing to do with digestion?

Enzymes known as proteolytic or fibrinolytic enzymes are designed to break down proteins, but not just the proteins in your food.

When you take enzymes with food, they stay in your intestinal tract to digest food.

However, when you take proteolytic enzymes between meals or when food isn’t in your stomach, they quickly enter your bloodstream. There they help clean up your blood and make their way to your tissues and organs.

These special enzymes go to work in a seek-and-destroy-type mission to help break down and clear out proteins that don’t belong there. So, when food isn’t present, their primary action is to seek out unwanted proteins throughout your body.

Fibrinolytic enzymes like lumbrokinase also help remove fibrin, a protein that your body makes that can affect blood flow in your arteries and connective tissue.

Fibrin can affect your heart and muscle health as well as the general well-being of your entire body.

That’s where the ‘Chinese Secret’ comes into play – the secret held by the Chinese, Japanese and Koreans for thousands of years.

The Chinese Secret for Healthy Blood Flow: Lumbrokinase Enzymes

Lumbrokinase are complex enzymes that contain a bioactive protein, which accounts for their many potentially beneficial properties for health.*

This group of enzymes earned its name after a Japanese doctor named H. Mihara and his colleagues extracted them from earthworm species in 1991.

Even though earthworms have been used in Traditional Chinese practice for thousands of years, it’s only recently that earthworm fibrinolytic enzymes, or EFEs, have become available.

Researchers have discovered that EFE is a mix of six enzymes – all serine protease components with different fibrinolytic activities.

These EFEs, or lumbrokinase, as it’s called, are effective at breaking apart and helping your body get rid of fibrin and other unwanted proteins.

So, why is it important to help your body remove these types of unwanted proteins? Proteins that don’t serve you can prevent you from enjoying:

  • Optimal heart health and blood flow throughout your body.
  • Maximum comfort during activity and when resting.
  • Feeling energetic and ‘recharged’ every day, even with plenty of rest.
  • A healthy nutritional profile without mineral deficiencies.

By reducing unwanted proteins with the help of proteolytic or fibrinolytic enzymes, you help support a healthy inflammatory response, healthy circulation and vascular health throughout your body.*

Nearly 30-Times Stronger Than Other Fibrinolytic Enzymes

There are several oral proteolytic enzymes available today that can help break down fibrin and other unwanted proteins in your body.

These include pancreatic enzymes, bromelain, nattokinase, serrapeptase and lumbrokinase.

How does lumbrokinase compare to these other proteolytic enzymes?

Of all the proteolytic, or protein digesting enzymes, only serrapeptase and nattokinase come close to resembling lumbrokinase in terms of fibrinolytic activity.

However, lumbrokinase is “king” when it comes to strength, as it’s:

  • About 300-times stronger than serrapeptase, an enzyme extracted from silkworms.
  • Nearly 30-times stronger than nattokinase, the notorious enzyme extracted from natto, or traditional Japanese fermented soybeans.

Here’s something else that makes lumbrokinase stand apart from the others…

It has a built-in balancing mechanism that promotes both fibrinolysis and fibrinogenesis. That means it can both break down and build up fibrin, depending upon your body’s needs.*

I believe this is likely what gives lumbrokinase such a great safety record of use and why it has been so helpful to many people.*

Introducing Our Lumbrokinase Enzymes – A Unique Blend of Fibrinolytic Enzymes

Finding a truly effective lumbrokinase can be challenging.

Many lumbrokinase enzyme products contain little pure lumbrokinase or lumbrokinase of low enzymatic strength. Some don’t even contain what they claim on the package…

Lumbrokinase Enzymes

Our Lumbrokinase Enzymes formula is different. Each capsule of the unique Fibrinolytic Enzyme Blend contains:

  • 2,000 FU standardized activity, so you know exactly what you are getting, including
  • Lumbrokinase from Eisenia foetida and Eisenia japonica earthworms
  • Protease for extra protein-digesting power and to enhance lumbrokinase’s actions further down in your gastrointestinal tract.

With many other lumbrokinase products, you have no idea of their enzyme activity. There may be some, there may be none.

If enzyme activity isn’t measured, you have no assurance that you’re getting a high-quality, effective product.

Plus, we use a delayed release capsule to make sure the lumbrokinase enzymes and protease arrive in your intestines, where they are absorbed. With a regular capsule or pill, there’s no guarantee the enzymes will even make it to their destination.

I can’t stress that enough… delayed release is an absolute necessity if you wish to benefit from effective fibrinolytic activity throughout your body.

Act Now for a Healthy Heart, Brain, Muscles and More*

You owe it to yourself to try Lumbrokinase Enzymes to help you enjoy optimal cardiovascular health, blood flow, comfort during activity or rest, and more energy.*

Of course, these issues may be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the value of lumbrokinase. It may be useful anywhere in your body where blood flows.*

I regularly take lumbrokinase because of all of the benefits described above. I believe it is an important strategy to help me looking and feeling more youthful as I age.

Lumbrokinase has withstood the test of time in Traditional Chinese practice over thousands of years. Maybe its time has come to help you Take Control of Your Health®.

FAQ
  1. 1. What is the suggested use of the product?

Adults, as a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily on an empty stomach.

  2. 2. I take digestive enzymes. Do I need Lumbrokinase Enzymes, too?

Digestive and proteolytic enzymes act very differently even though you may see similar enzymes in both kinds of formulas. When you take digestive enzymes at mealtime, they go to work to digest the food in your stomach. Taken between meals when food isn’t present, proteolytic enzymes, like Lumbrokinase Enzymes, digest unwanted proteins, like fibrin, that can affect blood flow, heart and muscle health. Lumbrokinase Enzymes don’t digest carbs or fats, so they are not appropriate for use as digestive enzymes at mealtime.

  3. 3. I’m currently on an anticoagulant medication. Is it OK to take this product as well?

If you have a blood coagulation condition or are taking anticoagulants, such as Warfarin (Coumadin), do not use Lumbrokinase Enzymes..

  4. 4. Is it safe to consume while pregnant or nursing?

This product was not formulated specifically for pregnant or nursing women. We always recommend consulting with your health care provider before taking a new dietary supplement.

Important Note:
  • If you have a blood coagulation condition or are taking anticoagulants, such as Warfarin (Coumadin), do not use Lumbrokinase Enzymes.
