Body Lotion or Body Butter: Which Should You Choose?
With countless body lotions, body creams and body butters competing for space on store shelves, one can’t help but wonder – Which one will work best for my skin?
Your choice ultimately will depend upon the dryness of your skin and the climate in which you live.
By definition, lotions and creams contain water, but body butters do not. Some lotions can contain as much as 70% water. Not only shouldn’t you pay for large amounts of water in any skincare product, there’s another issue with this... When the water evaporates, it can leave your skin feeling more dry.
Instead of water, we use organic aloe vera juice in our Organic Moisturizing Body Lotion. Aloe vera juice rejuvenates skin instead of drying it out.
I recommend using our Organic Moisturizing Body Lotion daily to replenish skin moisture and to help protect against the abuse of the elements.
For extra dry areas, I recommend using our Organic Body Butter, available in two natural organic scents or unscented. Our Body Butters are thicker than lotion or cream, and perfect for everyday use for rough, dry areas.
Both are ideal for all skin types.
